Shh! It's top secret! Undercover agents report that in fall 2010 Wild Planet will release the Spy Video TRAKR, the first remote-controlled vehicle that digitally transmits color video, audio and data and enables users to download, build and share custom programs (apps) for free.
In fall 2010, Wild Planet will release three new Spy Gear gadgets to give young secret agents superpowers. The new tools are the Lie Detector Kit, Security Scanner and Spy Decoy Listener. Each will be available in mass stores for $9.99 - $19.99 and are designed for kids ages 6 and older.
Wild Planet keeps preschoolers on their feet with Flipper Frenzy, the most physically active offering in the Smart Step Games brand. The fast-paced preschool game promotes movement and coordination and practices early learning skills, including letters, colors and more.
Wild Planet will release its first line of Crayola-licensed games in fall 2010. The games are an extension of the partnership between the two companies, who together launched the critically acclaimed Crayon Town activity sets in 2009.
Wild Planet asked kids, teachers and parents what they loved most about the award-winning game Hyper Dash and the overwhelming response was "running around," "making math fun," and "playing as a family." Without sacrificing any elements that made the original Hyper Dash hugely successful, Wild Planet redesigned the game to be more active, more educational and more appealing to families with kids of different ages.
2010 will be the first year in which kids are given the tools to create and share custom apps that can be downloaded, at no cost, onto a toy. The first app-enabled toy, the Spy Video TRAKR from Wild Planet, will debut at the American International Toy Fair in New York in February, eight months before its public release.
Squatz are a new line of compact collectables with interchangeable heads. Each 1.5-inch figure is embedded in a solid tablet twice its size, wrapped and labeled with a question mark.
