Introducing the Spy Video ATV-360 Wild Planet’s new RC vehicle with private video and audio transmission

(SAN FRANCISCO, Toy Fair 2008) – In response to consumer demand, Wild Planet (creators of the original 2006 Spy Video Car) prepares to introduce an all-new spy video vehicle in fall 2008. The Spy Video ATV-360 will be the first remote-controlled Spy Gear video car to offer audio transmission, full-circle spin control, and tank tracks for a mass retail price of $99.

This upgraded ATV lets secret agents inspect enemy territory from the safety of their own spy headquarters. They can scope out a room and hear if anyone is coming from up to 75 feet away. The new track-based movement system traverses treacherous landscapes such as laundry-strewn bedroom floors and foyers filled with books and backpacks. The vehicle climbs over obstacles and wirelessly transmits real-time video and audio back to the driver.

Because plain-sight video monitors are not acceptable in the spy world, the ATV-360 sends images to a private LCD lens mounted to a pair of lightweight frames. Sound is heard through a single ear bud. Drivers confirm the coast is clear by pushing a button on the remote control to perform a 360-degree room scan. Full-circle turns offer early detection of renegade spies approaching from any direction.

Siblings spy on each other, parents check-in on the kids, employees search for approaching bosses – regardless of the mission at hand, the Spy Video ATV-360 is the ultimate surveillance device. It will be released two months prior to the next 007 film and is cool enough to make even James Bond jealous.

Unfold the collapsible tripod concealed in the base of this multi-dart launcher and set it up to protect a doorway or escape route. Remove the handle, which transforms into a wireless IR remote, and hide up to 25 feet away from the dart launcher. Visually locate the launcher through the crosshairs on the remote and press the ignition button to activate your trap. Catch enemy spies by triggering the launcher and sending darts soaring in their direction. Sound effects add to successive and single-shots. Store spare darts in the handle of the remote.

With the Signal Launcher outdoor aerial alert system, you can launch signals more than 40 feet straight up into the air. The pump-and-release launcher includes three sculpted, whistling foam signals, each with a unique appearance and purpose.

Signals are color-coded to alert secret agents if they should proceed at full speed, continue with caution, or abruptly abort their mission. The green signal features a reflector, the yellow one stores written messages and the red one is trailed by streamers. Signals soar above rooftops, more than three stories high, whistling through the air. The sound alerts spies to look up and lets them know their visual message is coming.

The Signal Launcher is lightweight and features storage for all three signals as well as an ergonomically designed pump-handle and launch button.

The Wireless Tracking System gives spies the ability to detect movement in other rooms from the safety of their own headquarters. Know when enemies are approaching long before they arrive at your door.

Place the three small motion-sensing pods around the house or yard and then map the sensor locations on your hand-held tracking unit with the included erasable red marker. Lights on your tracker will blink when someone crosses the area monitored by the corresponding pod. For example, light #1 will blink to alert you of movement near pod #1.

If you have to be out of eye-shot from your tracking unit, you have the option of also receiving an audio alert. A verbal alarm will announce which sensor has been tripped.

The Wireless Tracking System is designed for remote missions too. The main unit and the three pods attach to separate belt-clips, making it easy to take your tracking tools with you.
