Meet the Aquapets™!

(SAN FRANCISCO, June 2004) – Following successful debuts in Japan and Europe, Aquapets are on their way to melt the hearts of America. This holiday season Wild Planet Toys will release six new lovable interactive friends, including one special edition glow-in-the-dark character named Lugi.

Unlike other virtual pets that are flat and two-dimensional, exist on screens, require constant attention and eventually die, Aquapets are fun, floating, dancing, three-dimensional creatures that react to sounds made by their owners and their buoyant buddies. They chirp with nods of approval in response to proper care and reward their owners with delightful songs in appreciation of praise and affection.

The charismatic collectable characters come from far-away Aquaplanet. Living happily afloat in their small aquatic chambers, each Aqupet has its own look, sounds, songs and story.
